Celebrity gossip creator Kyle Marisa Roth gained significant popularity on social media by posting news about actors and singers on TikTok and other platforms. Known for her catchphrase, “You want more? I’ll give you more,” she tragically passed away on April 15 this year, leaving her followers in disbelief. The exact cause of death has not been clarified; however, her fans theorize that Jennifer Lopez is to blame.
Kyle frequently discussed JLo, as much as she did other celebrities. Previously, her TikTok account was shut down due to strikes against any content that included footage from Jennifer’s film The Greatest Love Story Never Told. In the film, JLo narrates a story about growing up in The Bronx.
Being banned from social media affected her income. Kyle Marisa Roth addressed her reduced income in Forbes, noting that it was impacted by her account shutdown, a sentiment her fans echoed. Kyle’s followers allege that she couldn’t afford the medical treatment she needed, based on her claims that “JLo’s narcissism single-handedly affected her business,” “JLo has cost me more than four figures of income just for March 2024,” and the most controversial of all: “If I die of colon cancer, it’s on her.”
After creating a new account, she claimed to have lost thousands of followers she never regained. Following her passing, her mother released a statement about the challenges her daughter faced on social media. “My message as her mother is about TikTok, the toxicity, the mean-spiritedness that Kyle has faced, what so many people have faced, and try to deal with because of that toxic space. I just want people to live their lives with the brightness of Kyle and her beautiful soul and spirit.”
Until the official cause of death is released-if her family ever wishes to do so-her fans will continue to publish theories about why she died, even if Jennifer Lopez is mentioned in them.
