NBC and Peacock have announced the nominees for The 2024 People’s Choice Country Awards, honoring the best and brightest in the genre. Shaboozey, who’s had a triumphant 2024 with songs like “A Bar Song (Tipsy)” and “Let It Burn” skyrocketing (not to mention, a memorable Cowboy Carter cameo in “Spaghettii,” is up for new Best Artist of 2024, Song of the Year for “A Bar Song (Tipsy),” and album of 2024 for Where I’ve Been, Isn’t Where I’m Going.

NBC and Peacock have announced the nominees for The 2024 People’s Choice Country Awards, honoring the best and brightest in the genre. Hosted by country-pop legend Shania Twain, some of night’s biggest nominated acts include Zach Bryan, Beyoncé, Kacey Musgraves, Shaboozey, Kane Brown, Morgan Wallen and Luke Combs.

Shaboozey’s fellow Cowboy Carter collaborators, Tanner Adell, Brittney Spencer, Tiera Kennedy and Reyna Roberts are nominated with Bey for their work on “Blackbiird,” which is nominated for Collaboration Song and Cover Song of 2024.
“Country has some of the most passionate fans in music and us artists are so lucky to be supported in doing what we love,” Twain said in a statement. “I am honored to host an award show that celebrates these awesome fans. Get ready for an unforgettable show with lots of big hair, glamour, rhinestones, hats, boots and incredible performances. Giddy Up!”
Fans can vote for their picks starting Aug. 14, and have until Aug. 23, to do so at the event’s website. Turbo votes, which will count twice, will commence on Aug. 20.
